Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is the second generation of the Bose QuietComfort 35. These headphones are not new, they’ve been out for a while and these are the updated version of Bose QuietComfort 35. These headphones are currently retailing for around two hundred and thirty dollars.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

The Beats Studio3 Wireless is a popular headphone in the market. These headphones are currently retailing for two hundred and eighty dollars. These headphones have a great feature built-in that is the W1 chip. These headphones have a stylish look.

DESIGN:

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

These headphones are extremely light. They are way lighter than the Beats Solo 2. The leather feels very soft and durable, it does not feel like the kind of leather that will flake off after some time. On the top, it seems to be Alcantara with leather on the top. The silver finish looks very neat as well.

Inside the ear cup, there is R and L Brandon. On the right side, you have the power button or the power switch, you have the volume up and down button, play-pause, and skip button, and noise cancellation in/off button on the earcups. There’s an NFC logo there on the earcup, so it supports NFC to pair up, and there is also your microphone hole on the earcup.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

They look beautiful and stylish. It has a nice amount of stretch whatever size of the head you have, you’re gonna be able to fit these. You get your Studio 3 Wireless logo on the headphone. Your Beats control switch is on the earcup. If you tap this once to play-pause, hold it down to activate your Siri and Google, tap it twice to skip tracks, and tap it three times to reverse tracks. There will be your 3.5 input if you want to use non-wireless, and also there will be your micro USB charging slot. You do have your active noise-canceling button and your 5 LEDs to determine battery life.

These definitely don’t have a premium feel to them. Everything is plastic, if you move them around they sound a little bit, and they stretch a lot, they probably not gonna break but it just has that plastic non-premium feel to it. If you grab the Blue Satellites, they are aluminum, everything is heavy, nice, and thick leather but these are not like them.

COMFORT:

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

I am very impressed with these Bose QC 35 and I would definitely recommend them to anybody and everybody who travels a lot because that’s something that I’m gonna guess is where this will shine. If you’re traveling a lot, being on a train, on a flight, that involves a lot of travel, this will probably really help you and make you feel a lot more comfortable throughout your journey. So, that’s a very cool thing about these headphones. The quality of these earphones is definitely just out of the world and they definitely feel nice light and comfortable. I don’t feel these headphones would give any issue in terms of comfort.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

They have a very leather rich look and feel comfortable. They definitely feel comfortable, sitting nice, and tight around the ears. If you want to travel you’re gonna want some lightweight headphones like this. If you’re rocking these for 7 hours straight, if you take these to the gym or you riding your bike, they’re gonna sit nice and light on your head.

FEATURES:

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

The headphone comes in a very solid case. It’s kind of styrofoam but it has a little bit of fake leather feeling material. It’s very hard, so it’s probably good for traveling. It does get a little bit more durable and there is a little sleeve there in the back. When you open up the case, again there is another sleeve. Inside the case, there is a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm headphone jack, Your headphones, and micro USB cable for charging.

The noise-canceling is really good at this. You can literally hear nothing and I think that this would be an excellent experience. The box claims that there is a Google Assistant built-in, so it does support Google assistant fully as well as Siri. If you’re using an Android phone or an iPhone, this will work just as good with either one and that’s a very good thing.

Another thing is that this is a truly wireless headphone and another key thing is that you can use it wired as well, if you run a charger something like that, which is always good to have and most headphones do have that. We have to download the Bose Connect app for setup and slide the power button so that the app can find the headphones.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

I tested out the red-colored headphone and it looks beautiful with the red iPhone 8 plus. Beats headphones are not all about the sound quality and the active noise cancellation, you’re buying it for the logo, and let’s keep it real. When you’re walking around Beats on, one of the most fashionable headphones, the most trendy, so you want to look trendy.

The Beats Studio 3 wireless is available in different colors. If you go on Amazon, you get different prices for different colors. The box claims that these are wireless Bluetooth headphones, they feature pure adaptive noise canceling, you can control your music, manage your phone calls I mean you can answer and phone calls directly from the headphones, and you can play and pause, skip and reverse tracks, and activate your Siri or Google Assistant, and you get a built-in microphone.

Inside the box, the headphone comes with a carrying case the hardshell material, which has a classic red Beats logo on it and the logo on the zipper. There will be your 3.5 cables if you want to listen to these without using your Bluetooth, your usual books, your classic beats troll sticker, a charging cable this might be the biggest downside to these headphones they still use in micro USB for the charging cable, and you get a carabiner hook for your case.

One of the best features about these headphones other than the fast fuel is the W1 chip. With the W1 chip, you’re gonna get your seamless pairing. For the paring process, power the headphones up, just the headphones will be popped up with, hit connect, and it will get connected instantly easily. It was literally less than 30 seconds and the headphones already paired up.

With the W1 chip, you’re getting a better Bluetooth range. Beats claims you’re getting worked up to a hundred feet, even if it’s 75 feet that’s still better than the 30 feet that you get with most headphones. These are going to be perfect for the gym and for traveling. As far as the active noise cancellation feature, they do work better but in comparison to Sony and the Bose, they are almost equal. But still, Sony and Bose are a little better than these.

8.3 Bose QuietComfort 35 II 2

BATTERY:

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

The company claims that the battery life here is twenty hours which is pretty good. I tested out the battery life in these and these do last long. Until we go for long listening secession it stays long. You can also save your battery life on these headphones by using these as wired.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

With the active noise canceling off, it’s gonna put them into low-power mode so that you could save your battery life. You get up to 22 hours worth of battery life with the active noise canceling on and 40 hours worth of battery life with the turned off. These feature fast fuel, which means when the battery dies, you plug these in for 10 minutes and you get an extra three hours worth of playtime. This might be the best feature of these headphones.

SOUND:

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

The Bose is definitely not bass-heavy, that’s not particularly a bad thing because the Bose never has claimed too. In my experience, they are never really bass-heavy. They’re a lot more balanced and that’s true in my experience with older Bose earphones and headphones and this too. But I am very impressed with the sound quality on Bose QC 35 II. The main selling point of these QC 35 II isn’t the true audio quality, it’s actually the comfort, so we couldn’t expect that high-quality sound from these.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

I tested out the sound quality on this with the maximum volume and noise cancellation off, right out of the box one thing I want to mention, the sound of this Beats headphone is not what I expected. Usually, when you buy Beats headphones, you’re expecting about extra overpowering bass but these definitely don’t have overpowered bass. So far they sounded nice and balanced, crystal clear, and the music was definitely loud.

If you expect that thunderous bass, if you listen to hip-hop music, rock and roll, EDM, and you like the heavy bass, these Beats headphones definitely tone down the bass. I was expecting to get blown away by the bass and that’s not the case. These are definitely a lot more balanced, the bass is still there, it’s very thunderous but it’s not head pounding bass.

8.3 Beats Studio3 Wireless 4

WHICH ONE HAS BETTER QUALITY FEATURES?

In my opinion, the Beats Studio3 Wireless has better quality features than the Bose QuietComfort 35 II. The Beats have better sound quality, better call quality, better battery life, and better noise cancellation technology than the Bose. The Beats Studio3 Wireless also have a W1 chip for better Bluetooth range and these also have better quick charge feature which the Bose QuietComfort 35 II doesn’t have.

Thanks to Bose QC35 II, my Netflix series watching experience gets an upgrade while I commute from and to work on the train. It has enough power to drive all sorts of sounds that you throw at it, cancels many background noises, and lets you immerse in…

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is one of the de facto standards when it comes to active noise-canceling headphones. With a solid build quality, high-quality sound, and some of the best noise-canceling around the reputation is well earned. My only criticisms…

By Home Theater Review
I know that plenty of audiophiles read this publication, and my advice to you is to put stereotypes aside–because if you are looking for a very comfortable, features-laden, balanced pair of affordable wireless headphones, the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II belongs on your shortlist to consider.

By Gadget360
The Bose QC35 II carries forward the same level of audio and noise cancellation performance of the original, which makes it a solid pair worth considering. We found the addition of Google Assistant to be quite useful, at least when it worked. If you use it a lot, this integration will come in handy. We did face some moments where the experience got a little buggy, but hopefully, all these things can be fixed with firmware updates.

By goodhousekeeping.co.uk
They may not be cheap but the Bose QuietComfort 35 II is the bee knees of on-ear wireless headphones. As usual, the sound quality is excellent but the headphones are comfortable to wear too, have 20 hours of listening time, and even build on the previous version by including access to Google Assistant (if you have a compatible phone).
