Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech G433

The design and comfort is good and the design is something new in the Logitech headsets. The sound of the mic and the headset both are pretty good when you use the USB DAC.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

This headset design is also something for now and also it looks quite old style headset by the design. The headset’s comfort level is also good and doesn’t had any problems. The sound is also good enough for this price.

DESIGN:

Logitech G433

The headset look is certainly different from most other headsets, the ear cups are covered in fabric. The headband is steel-reinforced plastic. The headset looks very simple like a regular headphones.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

The headset is almost plastic but your metal supports in the ears where you extend them and there’s little notches for you. Even it’s made full of plastic, it feels durable. The wire is attached to the headset but it feels really nice, I don’t ever really get tangled up because it kind of has that little rubber feel. So, it never drops down it kind of bounces back into shape.

COMFORT:

Logitech G433

They feel light, which is very important for longer gaming sessions. Inside the cups you can almost see the smaller speakers which are responsible for the surround sound effect. I think they’re comfortable and for the couple hours that I’ve worn them I have no problems with them.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

They use the pleather material for the ear cups. The ear cups are nice and soft. Your ears can get a little hot here because they’re all the pleather all the way around even on the inside. There’s plenty of padding on the top of the headset. There’s not much clamping force like when you put them on your head, they feel pretty nice. You will almost forget that the headset is in your head.

Also, this HyperX headset does have swivel on ear cups. This thing makes the difference in this and the other headsets of HyperX. Also, these are so lightweight. The pressure is just perfect right around your entire ears not pressing one spot too much.

FEATURES:

Logitech G433

In the box, you get the cables, a pair of replacement cups and a light carrying bag. There is the microphone that you plug-in, the PC splitter in-case you don’t want to use the USB converter, and you have the phone cable in-case you just want to use the headset outside or for your phone, and the regular cable with the microphone mute key and the volume adjuster. I really like how none of the cables or even the microphone is permanently connected to the headset, so if you want, you can change anything, like if any of the cables are damaged you can simply replace them.

Plugging things to the headset like the microphone is very easy to do. The main cable used for your PC is not the longest cable I’ve seen on a headset but it’s definitely not too short and that’s a big plus. You can decide to connect the main cable to the PC splitter or the USB converter, I prefer the USB converter.

When I first plugged them in to try the sound, Windows was very fast to recognize them, and in the audio settings of Windows, my headset was set to default automatically for both playback and recording devices. No manual configuration was needed, everything worked immediately.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

In the box with the headset you’re gonna get a splitter for PC. Now the cable on the headset is attached, so you cannot remove that same with the mic, it is attached, neither of them are detachable.

You have your volume adjustment is right on the back of the ear cup and it’s not a wheel, it’s just a little slider. This one thing I don’t like because honestly with the wheel I get that very slight mild adjustment, I feel like in this one when I’m gonna adjust it I get a pretty massive adjustment.

MICROPHONE:

Logitech G433

I think the microphone did a good job for canceling out most of the background noise. If you use the USB DAC, the mic sound will be good and clear. Also, the mic does the job well for noise cancelling, it reduce the background noises well.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

The mic is attached and you will hear just a one click when you flip the mic. In that click you can know the mute or unmute of mic. There’s nothing any light up or any other sign for the mute of mic but you can know by the click sound when you flip up the mic after using it. The mic is nice, there’s a nice distance right there but the flex is not hold up. I mean, you can’t set the mic like whatever position you want to. There’s a little kind of cloth in the end of the mic and it’s like a windscreen of the mic.

It sounded really good. I honestly think the mic is pretty good as well. For this price range, the mic does the job well and it’s decent mic.

SOUND:

Logitech G433

The G433’s handle lower-frequencies with a more rounded fattening sound, it sort of amplifies the bass while giving it a bit of a punch. So, how do they perform in The first thing I noticed is shooting sounds crisp together with that punchy bass and it’s quite satisfying. It took me a couple rounds to get used to hearing footsteps and pinpointing enemies.

It sounds good for listening music. The sound is not too bassy and it well balanced. From using the USB DAC and the surround sound you can experience a well worth sound stage from it.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

As far as sound, I kind of got a mixed opinion. Now, this is that does use 50 millimeter drivers. In this headsets frequency range is 18 to 23,000 and most headsets in this price range are usually 20 to 20. As far as a 50 millimeter drivers where you really need to work with them to make them shine, I tested this headset across every device on a Nintendo Switch, Xbox one, PlayStation 4, and the PC.

I felt like there wasn’t much bass at all it was more or less mids. It wasn’t muddy by any means, maybe it’s just because those highs were taking over so much. They got loud, the highs were just screechy and there was just no thump. There’s no base or crumble or anything. In my opinion, it felt like the bass was more overdone mids like there wasn’t any really low end, it was all that mid right there and then the highs, just because the highs were taking everything over.

For this price range, a lot of headsets around this price range kind of get the opposite. I mean, you get a little bit too much bass or too much mids and it ends up being a little bit muddy. But, this headset has too many highs, it’s good and just weird, it’s very different but again keep that sound-stage in mind.

CONCLUSION:

Logitech G433

Overall, the design and comfort is good and impressive. Even though the design of the headset is not that much attractive but it looks simple and nice. It feels lightweight. The headset sound is good enough by considering the price and the mic sound is also quite good if you use the USB DAC.

HyperX Cloud Stinger

In my opinion, I really liked them for this price range. Across comfort, build, the value, the mic is stinking awesome. Again, the sound-stage was just different. If you’re looking for that really high pitched and you just catch those footsteps and anything like that, this might be the right thing for you.
