So, as it stands, I have yet to come across a headset that performs as well as the HS70s, with the lovely lows and the crisp highs. The design of them oozes quality and the attention to detail is second to none. With them being wireless, you’re not confined to the reach of the cable you often get of wired headsets, instead, you can roam the house with little interference (I was listening to music 2 storeys below my PC). Sure they cost a pretty penny, but I honestly think they are worth it.By TheStreamingBlog
All in all, we were highly pleased by the performance of the HS70. It produced really great sounds for a wireless unit. The bass was enhanced but it isn’t much that it completely overpowers the sounds; instead, it delivers an excellently light boost for that added rumble. We listened to music and everything sounded great, so we’re definitely giving the Corsair HS70 two thumbs-up for its performance.By TechRadar
Portability, powerful bass and an amazing soundstage rule with Corsair’s latest wireless gaming headset. It’s not without flaws, but as far as sound goes, it might just be as close to gamers’ heaven as you can get.By FutureLooks

Detail Review:
INTRODUCTION:
Corsair HS70
This is the wireless headset of the Corsair and the upgraded version of the Corsair HS60. The design and the comfort are good but the comfort level of the headset is not that good like the Void Pro. The sound of the headset is good and impressive and the mic is also good but with a little bit quieter sound.
Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless
The Corsair void pro is a wireless gaming headset that’s constantly being purchased by gamers who want to fully immerse themselves in the game that they’re playing and hear every enemy footstep which is always a key for success. Corsair like many times before has shown us that their products are synonymous with quality, comfort, and design and since there are dozens of positive reviews about this particular product.
The Void series model’s design is different but looks and fits good but the design of the Void Pro is as same as the design of the Void headset. The sound of the headset and the mic sound is also good and good to use for gaming.
DESIGN:
Corsair HS70
The headset itself has a rather kind of cool design with the stitching, almost full leather kind of feel and a headband with full leather again at the top with the Corsair logo embossed up. The headset design is actually an open cut design with an actually metal grille on either side which does give a little bit nicer quality feel to it.
It also has a full aluminum headband from the connections of the ear cups all the way through the top and back round. So, this should be a pretty durable headset. The overall exterior materials that the plastics and this are full leathers do feel a little bit on the cheap side but nothing terrible.
Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless
This weighs around 13.8 ounces or 391 grams. In addition, the Void Pro RGB comes in three versions such as the multi-platform version, the USB wired version, and the wireless RGB. This particular model features a sturdy, mostly plastic construction that’s accompanied by a thick and expandable matte headband on the top.
You can see some thick metal pillars that support and add some strength to the frame with the intention to minimize the cranking sound after years of usage. The ear cups are oversized and they feature a kite-shaped design that sits properly on your ears, so you’d be able to listen to everything in detail and be or focus during your gameplay. The exterior is plastic and on both of them, there’s the Corsair logo that will glow in a variety of colors.
COMFORT:
Corsair HS70
The ear cups have that full leather kind of feel to them. This headset doesn’t have as much padding as they have on void pro Wireless which is massive and good like inch thick and these ones are a little bit more low profile to your head but still are relatively comfy. I would mention though inside that your cup there is a small hard block which I believe is meant to sit on the back of your ear and give a little bit more support. You shouldn’t really have any issues with it.
The actual comfort level of the headset is for me not as great as the Void Pro. The void has a really nice very kind of floaty feel to them, they really don’t clamp down on your head much, they have incredible foam on the top and it makes them really comfy. These ones though they clamp down relatively hard, the top foam feels a fairly non-existent and there’s a little bit of squish to them but it’s fairly hard up there and the ear cups again don’t have as much foam. So, they’re not as comfy and again they do clamp quite hard on your head.
Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless
The expandable headband can accommodate different sized heads and sits softly on your head without causing any strain. The headband has plenty of padding as well and a thick memory foam which covers the external soft-touch fabric is definitely a good choice for making your gaming experience a lot more comfortable.
The interior is finished with a mesh that covers the memory foam padding. It does not only mean that they sit comfortably but it also means that you won’t sweat and overheat during long gaming periods. It’s not meant that they won’t ever get warm but they certainly do stay comfortable.
FEATURES:
Corsair HS70
In the box, you get the headset itself, the removable microphone, a USB dongle for connecting to your PC or ps4, and a pretty long micro-USB cable for charging the headset that’s pretty much it.
This is a wireless headset. So, on the right-hand side ear cup, you have the power button and on the left-hand side ear cup is where most of the business happens. You have a volume rocker to change the volume of the headset, you have a mic mute switch, micro-USB port to charge the headset and the power and connectivity LED as well as the grommet side hole for your microphone.
The battery life, Corsair claims 16 hours and that seems to be pretty reasonable especially since there aren’t fancy RGB lights to drain the battery even quicker.
Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless
On the left side, there’s a physical power button that mutes the mic, a power button, and a micro USB port with which you can charge the headset. I’d also like to inform you that those headphones can also be rotated 90 degrees without any problem and so far I can’t find any negative remarks regarding this product.
I’d suggest you taking advantage of the Corsairs utility engine software that features a decent amount of gaming-centric options that would surely enhance your experience like never before. The software is very intuitive, so you wouldn’t lose you’re searching for your preferred settings which is without a doubt a great advantage. There are options for adjusting the microphone levels, programming the RGB lighting, a couple of adjusting presets, and even an option for real-time audio monitoring. Also, if you have a Corsair keyboard or mouse, you can assign the two of them to glow in conjunction with your headphones, I think it’s really cool.
According to Corsair the battery life is expected to last up to 16 hours which is tremendously good for such an affordable gaming headphone. However, take in mind that the battery life is not fixed and it will vary upon your usage. If you’re enabled the lighting effects, they’ll drain the battery faster. So approximately I think you’d get about 12 hours which is still pretty good for long gaming sessions.
MICROPHONE:
Corsair HS70
The microphone is fully detachable and stays roughly in position. The Void Pro actually sounds a little bit better than this one and this one is a detachable microphone. So, in the future, you could replace it although. The microphone is incredibly quiet by default, so unless you have it literally right up against your face or if you boost the levels which will introduce a fair bit of noise. It’s a fairly quiet headset, so bear that one in mind as well.
It is definitely a little bit on the quieter side and it’s also not in the best quality. The Void and the Void Pro tend to have a little bit of a better microphone on them which is kind of surprising but either way that what you get with this headset.
Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless
The uni-directional noise-canceling microphone is discord certified as well and I think it’ll add a lot to your overall gaming experience because you can be heard clearly by your teammates and your voice will sound loud and clear without any mumbles as often happens with other headphones. This is pretty useful for gaming purposes since you can coordinate with your teammates and follow your created strategy which would result in a great win. If you’re a gamer you know how hard it is to coordinate with your teammates, so with these headphones that problem is a thing of the past.
SOUND:
Corsair HS70
In terms of the audio quality, I was actually really surprised with this. I tested this headset with the competition of Arctis Wireless which is very higher than this one at price of the headset. This for me especially with the open soundstage actually made these feel a little bit nicer to me in terms of audio quality. This able to more precisely pick out certain instruments and things in songs that I wouldn’t necessarily normally be able to do.
When gaming with the headset I was pretty impressed with it. There really isn’t too much from games, I noticed the headsets and honestly with even the really budget headsets I personally don’t notice that much of a difference in how crisp the gunshots from my left or right. So, when it’s about the more sort of competitive FPS style, I don’t notice that much of a difference. The only place that you may notice a difference is in more RPG style games like The “Witcher” for example, where it just has a really nice audio experience will be a little bit better than this one.
Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless
The Corsair Void Pro performs exceptionally well for gaming purposes mainly because of the 50-millimeter neodymium speaker drivers that support the Dolby 7.1 surround audio which is well known for its ability to produce an incredibly immersive audio quality. But, this is not unknown for Corsairs product, the great sound has always been a strength with a Void headphone and this particular model shares the same quality with even a higher level of improvement. For example, during your gameplay regardless of whether it’s FPS, racing, or whatever genre the Void Pro is capable enough to deliver a punchy bass natural and well-defined audio that’ll keep you focused on the game. The sound of explosions, gunshots, and flying bullets that would fly past are superb in my opinion and this is what I always look for when I want to move from my existing set up to another.
There’s another thing that I’d like to mention, an active Void Pro has the ability to effectively reduce the background noise right down to the very minimum. This is brilliant for gaming since you won’t get distracted by anything that surrounds you and the only thing that would surround you here is the Dolby. This particular model can bring consistent low latency 2.4 gigahertz wireless audio with up to 40-foot range or around 12 meters, I find to be a great advantage and especially if you take into consideration the amount of money that you’re actually paying.
WHICH TO BUY?
In these two headsets, both are good headsets and both are wireless and have almost the same battery life. If you need good comfort and like the Void Pro design, you can choose this one but you have to sacrifice a little bit of sound quality because the HS70 sound is better than the Void Pro headset but the mic of the Void Pro is slightly better than the HS70.
The design, comfort, and especially the sound of the sound, You can purchase the HS70. Overall, I like the HS70 by seeing the overall quality and all the features and also the price is almost the same.
