The Logitech G Pro mouse is quite popular in this period of time and it retails around $100 which is pretty expensive for the wired mouse. As the price of this mouse is high, the features and the functions are also that much great. 

Razer Deathadder Elite

Razer Deathadder Elite was launched near the end of 2016 picks up where the Chroma left off with the same user controlled custom lighting options comprised of up to 16.8 million colors to illuminate both the logo and scroll wheel edges. It has a 16,000 DPI Optical Sensor, Chroma RGB Lighting, 7 Programmable Buttons, Mechanical Switches, Rubber Side Grips.

DESIGN & COMFORT:

Logitech G Pro

The design and the structure of this G Pro mouse is simple and with a smooth texture. The full body of the mouse is covered in matte finish with a plastic-type of material. The material used in this mouse is quite nice and I can surely say that the build quality is good enough for the price. This mouse measures about 1.5 by 2.5 by 4.6 which is height, width, and depth respectively, and weighs about 3 ounces.

This mouse is more popular in the mouse world and also it will be comfortable to use even for left-handers even though it’s not an ambidextrous mouse. The G Pro mouse is more of a claw grip but also can be used as a fingertip Mouse because it’s just slightly more ergonomic in that respect and more traditional. 

Razer Deathadder Elite

This mouse looks basically the same as its predecessor, the Deathadder Chroma which has a right-handed design. The entire surface of this mouse is made of plastic except the ribs on the lower left and right sides. This simple ergonomic design is excellent for eSports Gaming Mouse standards. The weight is just perfect. It has a long 2-meter cable also included which gives degrees of freedom in almost any gaming setups. It has a good and solid grip but for some people, I think it’s a bit too long. 

FEATURES & PERFORMANCE:

Logitech G Pro

Logitech G Pro got a braided cable, left-click and right-click buttons, it’s got a scroll wheel is rubberized and it has a clicky feel. The rest of the buttons which are fully programmable. It can be used by both left-handers or right-handers. It’s got RGB lighting which unfortunately can’t be disabled one on the other, it has to be all or nothing. Underneath the mouse, you haven’t got any sort of adjustable weight. 

The mouse houses the same PMW3366 sensor. The G Pro gaming mouse has the same sensor and same internals as G303 and G403 and in that respect, the sensor performance is fantastic if you’re looking for a mouse sensor that can really provide you a great one-to-one tracking and absolutely fantastic DPI levels which is 12000 DPI. Also, there is good tracking over all different types of surfaces, then the PMW3366 sensor is the one to go to. In my opinion, this sensor is one of the best sensors in the world. 

In terms of performance, it’s flawless and it’s very good. The special feature of this G Pro mouse is that it’s very light in weight with a good form factor that can be used in home and casual gaming.  The form factor of this G Pro mouse really makes some difference from the other mouse of Logitech. 

Razer Deathadder Elite

On top, there’s an illuminated scroll wheel, left and right buttons with Omron mechanical switches, sensitivity up and down control, and of course, the illuminated Razer logo. On the left, you’ll find the two customizable buttons.

Looking down below, the Deathadder Elite features a really large floor polymer mouse feet including up down and around the sensor, more than the previous Deathadders. So, it’s no surprise if this mouse is really easy to drive around, especially on hard surface pads.

On the hardware side, the features in this mouse are actually quite limited, for example, not having an adjustable weight, no fast scrolling, and some other gimmicks we usually find in other high-end gaming mouse but every installed component is top-notch from the 16000 DPI, ultra-fast sensor, tactile scroll wheel, responsive Omron switches, and super complete Synapse software.

With one of the fastest optical sensors on the planet, playing games with this mouse mainly when it comes to first-person shooters, everything flows under control and responsive with a maximum polling rate of 1000 Hertz. The funny thing is since this mouse is really drifting over hard surface pads, you can aim exceptionally fast and accurate even with just 800 DPI, and More than a sensitivity clutch is enabled. I don’t think that any people will try 16000 DPI. So, it’s clear that this thing deserves the title, the eSports gaming mice.

SOFTWARE:

Logitech G Pro

In Logitech’s G Hub software, you can create and adjust your own lighting and button layouts. This software provides five menus for the G Pro mouse which are- Home menu, Pointer Settings, Lighting Settings, Surface Tuning, and Heat Map. Also, you store all your settings of the G Pro mouse through the Onboard memory system on the computer. You can make a configuration of six programmable as per your choices with the help of options given in the software. This software has up to five DPI sensitivity levels between 200 DPI and 12,000 DPI may be assigned. Finally, you can also adjust the polling rate between 125, 250, 500, and 1000 Hertz.

Razer Deathadder Elite

The software called Razer Synapse is used for all the settings and customizations, so for that, you must install the software. All the buttons except the left click is as customizable as we like. The sensitivity button can be sent into a sensitivity clutch which can be hold to instantly increase or decrease the DPI.

Last but not least that the LED can change it to any color you can imagine plus several lighting effects like static, breathing, and even spectrum cycling. You can also change the brightness of the light and can off the light if you don’t want it.

WHICH TO BUY?

Both mice is wired and performed well in gaining. The G Pro mouse looks simple and has some basic features for gaming with a good performance. Even the G502 does offer lots of features, the Deathadder Elite mouse is aimed towards gamers with more simple mindsets. The price gap between these mice is around $30. So, in my opinion, you can buy Razer Deathadder Elite but if you like the Logitech product more or if you like that simple design then you have to pay $30 more for the G Pro mouse.
