Closed-back earcups are a bit of a science to get right. These wobbly, circa-30-degree twisters should, at least in theory, clamp down on a head of any shape. But we found an element of looseness, even after properly adjusting the decent ratcheted…By PC World
Logitech’s G533 doesn’t have quite the same breadth of options as the G933, but a more restrained design and a bargain price make this a strong contender for best wireless headset.By IGN
There’s not much to complain about with the G533, as they are exceptional by practically every measure. They are comfy, offer superb audio for games and music, and the retractable microphone is simply brilliant. I just wish I could use them with my phone and my console like the Arctis 7 or Revolver S, then they’d be perfect.By PC Mag

Detail Review:
INTRODUCTION:
Logitech G533
The design and features are like same as the G933 but there are some differences between them. The comfort is also good on that ear padding material. The sound of the mic is also good enough for gaming and casual use.
Steelseries Arctis 7
The design is same as like the older Arctis models and the comfort level is also good enough but the wide range of headband looks little bit weird. The sound of the headset is also good for the price.
DESIGN:
Logitech G533
It’s designed pretty well. My little issue with it is as too much shiny plastic I’d rather have the whole thing matte that’s a very visual thing, it’s not something that would bother a lot of people. It looks flimsy as G933 but a little bit stronger.
It feels so plastic like the G933. It’s pretty flimsy, I think these would survive better in a bag than the G933. I think these are actually quite good and putting them on and off I feel like these are stronger than the G933. It just feels not so much more premium but more solid.
Steelseries Arctis 7
The design looks as same as like all the older models of Arctis line, nothing has been changed. The mic design is attractive and looks good to use. When you are not using it, it’s totally hide in the headset. This headset available on two traditional colors which black and white. The build quality is good and it feels strong and little bit flexible.
COMFORT:
Logitech G533
The ear cup cushions I expected something different for some strange reason the marketing material sort of saying that it was going to be different but doesn’t feel any different as G933. These are a lot lighter and I found my gaming sessions to be more comfortable with this headset. The comfort-ability of this one compared to the G933 is actually quite substantial that if you are deciding on a wireless headset from Logitech and you are looking between the G933 and the G533, this is a very good contender.
Steelseries Arctis 7
For the headband, you get a very sturdy steel frame with a ski goggle elastic strap that helps spread all of the wide over your head equally. This is an interesting design SteelSeries went with but it does work very well. You can adjust the head strap to fit your head size but I personally for me, the way this steel frame is bent it kind of looks a bit weird when it’s on your head but you have to design a headset to fit literally any head size.
This is extremely comfortable and it is kind of a bit different which I like. The ear cups which uses a closed back designed to keep everything you’re listening to yourself. The ear cups are made out of plastic to keep it nice and light but it does feel extremely high quality. The ear cups does also swivel a bit, so it is mostly comfortable to sit on your ears. Also, it turns inward, so you can rest it on your neck if you’re not using it or you just want to move around a bit. Now, it is a bit tiny around your neck, I just usually lift it on my head while moving around or listening to my music or just turn the volume down while I wants to do anything else and that work perfectly for me.
FEATURES:
Logitech G533
The range on this is substantial enough. We can say the distance of 10 meters it works very well. Also, if the walls will be in the way of connection it work little bit good. But, it started crackling near the second wall but it’s not really an issue if you’re just walking around your room.
This headset also has the G hub software. In which, You can adjust the equalizer, headset volume, mic volume, side tone and many other things. You can also set the surround sound. this headset are as same as like the G933 but without some of the premium features.
Steelseries Arctis 7
The Arctis 7 is not cheap. Inside along with the headset, you get the wireless transmitter, a micro USB charging cable and then a mobile and console audio cable. On the back of the ear cups, you get a bunch of controls and connection ports. firstly, the left side you get a micro USB charging ports to charge the wireless headset, a 3.5 millimeter jack that you can use to share what you are listening to to somebody else. Now, I’m not too sure how many times you would actually use this but I really like it.
Next to the audio jack, you get the mobile/console audio input where we can connect the included cable to connect the Artis 7 to any device with a 3.5 millimeter audio jack. So, you are not only limited to the wireless, you can also use it as wired. After that, you get the volume control wheel that is extremely handy and perfectly positioned to easily adjust the amount of volume. Then, also the button on the left ear cup is to mute your microphone, once you press it, you will hear a beep and the button will be pushed out so you can feel that the mic is muted.
Then, on the right ear cup you get that power on button that you have to press for 3 seconds to turn it on or off. The power icon also blinks a certain color to let you know the percentage of the battery. A green flash is between 100 and 50 percent of battery life while yellow is between 49 to 20 while red is 19 to 10 percent and a fast thinking red is nine to one percent. Also, you can still use the headset while you are charging it with the micro-USB cable and while charging, the power icon will blink a lot slower. So, you know that it is charging.
You also get a volume channel wheel that allows you to adjust what you are hearing between two inputs. So, you’re able to set up the chat input to something like discord or team-speak and then you have the game channel for your gaming audio. Then you are able to scroll the wheel to the channel you would like to hear more of, now this is a super handy feature when you’re playing with friends online and want to have full control on what you hear.
You can also use the transmitter as a line in or a line out as well. For line in you’re able to connect something like your smartphone to the transmitter with a 3.5 millimeter jack and then play the audio wirelessly to the headset. Then for the line out, you’re able to connect a speaker to the wireless transmitter and then when the Arctis are turned off, the audio will be played through the speaker and then if you power the Arctis back on then the speakers will be muted and you are playing and all the audio through the headsets.
You do get plenty of range with the Arctis 7. I had no problem doing stuff in the other room which has a double brick wall between it. So, the range is very good.
Now for the ear cup, Steelseries went with air weave fabric that apparently is used in athletic clothing but it is very soft and comfortable. I had no problems using it for a long hours and but if you do not like the airway fabric you can also get the leather or the velour cushions on SteelSeries website. Now as for software, you can go download the SteelSeries Engine 3 program on SteelSeries websites. With Engine 3, you can set some profiles, enable the DTA 7.1 surround-sound, adjust EQ levels a bit, adjust the dynamic range compression, adjust a mic volume, and then also adjust the mic side tones. So, you can hear a live feed from the mic itself.
MICROPHONE:
Logitech G533
The microphone is really nice, it extends a little bit even bends around but it doesn’t hold very well, it just seems very loose compared to what it should be. The microphone quality is very good just like the G933.
You can hear the mic sound clearly without any distortion. The mic works very well in vocal recording but it can’t be used for any professional use.
Steelseries Arctis 7
The microphone which is one of the super handy pull out mics that neatly hides inside the ear cup. The mic is able to bend almost any direction you would like it. Also, when you press the mute button on the back of the left ear cup, the entire side of the mic will light up red to let you know that it is muted.
There are still some background noise that you can hear in the mic sound. It’s not too amazing but I didn’t expect it to being like a crazy good or anything. Gaming headset never have really good microphones but for just online gaming and stuff like that, this microphone will be fine.
SOUND:
Logitech G533
The bass isn’t as good as in the G933 but with it messing around in the settings and the very good software. I think the bass can be manipulated to sound as good as the G933. I could probably get two of them the same drivers anyway but for some reason that you feel a little bit different. It could be that these are bit more comfortable as don’t squish my ears as much as the other ones, even though that go over my ears, I feel like there’s more pressure on these ones and therefore it’s a bit more cupped, the other ones are a bit softer. I think this is much lighter and that’s what a lot of people are going to like these for.
For gaming, it sound good and impressive. The sound-stage is wide enough. Also, it provides all the details of sound. In music, sometimes it’s quite muddy but otherwise, it’s good. For listening music, it does the job very well.
Steelseries Arctis 7
Now as for audio, the Arctis 7 does deliver very good sound. I won’t say it’s amazing a but it is very good. You do get crystal-clear highs and not too low end which you do get on most of the other gaming headsets. I enjoyed my time using it not only for gaming but for listening to music and watching some movies as well.
CONCLUSION:
Logitech G533
If you’re on a budget and you want a wireless solution and this is something we’ve come to expect from Logitech the wireless G533, there is no problems. It’s light, it’s a bit cheaper and it does everything the other one does except those premium features that some people just won’t really use.
If money is not an issue with yourselves then the G933 would probably suit you very well. If money is an issue or if you just don’t want to be one of those people that just spend obscene amount of money on random accessories and want wireless, this is pretty much as good to get.
Steelseries Arctis 7
For somebody who streamed a lot or just place a lot of online games, I would definitely say the Arctis 7 is packed with a whole bunch of features like the line in and line out and also all of the controls and connections at the back of your cups. The audio delivers is very good but it’s not the feature that stands out most of the Arctis 7. Now, it is a bit pricey but you definitely get what you are paying for and I definitely think if you worth to purchase the Arctis 7 for yourself, you would not be disappointed.
