The comparison here is between the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom and the JBL Flip 3. Both of these speakers are so evenly matched in their feature set and in their price as well. Both of these speakers are retailing almost for the same price. The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom is retailing for around 79 dollars or less and the JBL Flip 3 is also retailing for around 79 dollars or less.
The feature set of both of these speakers is also very similar. Both of these speakers are featured IPX7 waterproof rated. Even though they look different, they do support the same sound signature but there are certain differences between both of these speakers.
For me, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom performs a lot better than the JBL Flip 3 in many scenarios. It is more portable, at 50% volume lasts twice as long as the JBL Flip 3, has a more warm sound, and also the bass is better than the Flip 3. The only scenario in which Flip 3 is better than the Wonderboom is if you are listening to metal songs and you want to hear those drums that’s by it. In the rest of every scenario, the UE Wonderboom is the way to go.
